Antioxidants
An additional product for the dynamic oil and gas industry is the production of antioxidant inhibitors, which provide support to pipeline rust protection systems, and thus represent a significant growth segment. The management of UCP Chemicals estimates total antioxidant requirements in the Russian Federation to be 53,000 tons per year.
To exploit growing demand for these anti-corrosion substances, UCP Chemicals has established a joint venture with Amdor, the market leader in this segment. This joint venture started production in 2006 and has shown since strength and growth in its performance.
