Resin Coated Proppants
Resin coated proppants (RCPs) are small-sized spherical ceramic particles, which are coated with resin and used in the extraction of crude oil as a means of increasing oil production. Based upon the production of RCPs, UCP Chemicals will enter the high growth market for oil and gas products. A new production facility with a capacity of about 30,000 tons per year has been commissioned in 2007.
