Production capacity of PVC plasticates totals approximately 12,000 tons annually. UCP Chemicals manufactures four different groups of PVC plasticates for the following applications: cables, soles for footwear, technical products and medical tubes.

 

UCP Chemicals AG starts production of resin coated proppants with German technology

Nizhny Tagil, May 1st, 2008 - OAO Uralchimplast, an affiliate of the Austrian UCP Chemicals AG, which is headquartered in Vienna, started its production of resin coated proppants (RCP) in April 2008. This poduct is based on ceramics and phenolic resins and is used by the oil- and gas exploration industry to keep open the cracks formed under hydraulic pressure to increase the permeability of the oil and gas containing formations.
